School and college outreach
Choosing which path to take after school can be a difficult decision for students. As their teacher, your role makes a big difference. That’s why we work so closely with schools and colleges.
We provide interactive workshops, presentations and sessions including tips on applying to university, employability and communication skills, as well as popular sessions on careers in the creative industries.
Events and outreach activities
The Outreach Team are on the road attending events across the country from large fairs and exhibitions to delivering workshops to schools and colleges. See below how you can connect with us.
We also work closely with our events team to organise the annual Escapeverse Live (Formerly The VFX Festival). This involves free interactive sessions with top studios, careers advice and exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into award-winning films, tv shows and games.
Our Saturday Club outreach programme runs annually, aimed at students aged 13-16.
If you would like to enquire about any of our sessions, please get in touch at outreach@escapestudios.ac.uk.
UCAS fairs/exhibitions
You’ll find us at Exhibitions like UCAS, UK University Search and What Uni Live across the country. We’d love to meet you and share course information and application advice.
Higher education/careers fairs
Our Outreach team are regularly out on the road. If your school or college is planning a HE or Careers Fair and you’d like us to attend, please get in touch.
Escapeverse Live
We are happy to work with local schools and colleges to offer free interactive sessions at Escapeverse Live (formerly The VFX Festival), covering the creative industries across VFX, animation and games.
Saturday club
Our Saturday Club will be running again this year for students aged between 13-16 years old. If you are interested in learning more about Animation, Games and VFX, check out our Saturday Club page for information and how to apply!
I thought the presenters were excellent, well prepared, knew their topic and related well to the students - thank you.
