Klaudija Cermak Elected to the Management Board of VES London

We are delighted to announce that Escape Studios Programme Leader for VFX and 2D VFX Tutor, Klaudija Cermak, has been elected to the management board of the Visual Effects Society (VES), London. 

VES London is the UK branch of the Visual Effects Society, which is represented in over 45 countries globally. The society works to advance and promote visual effects, and hosts events that connect the VFX community and showcase new talent. As well as hosting film screenings, networking and educational events for members and guests, they also hold networking nights and online panels that are open to the public. 

Klaudija has said, "It is a great honour to join the UK Management Board of VES and I look forward to contributing to VES's quest in promoting and educating the art of visual effects and also supporting its members and current practitioners through organised events." 

As well as teaching, Klaudija has over 30 years of experience working in the creative industries on titles such as Gladiator, Black Mirror, Captain America and titles in the Harry Potter series. She has won a number of awards for her work in television and is the author of the Kindle bestseller ‘How to Get into and Survive Film, Advertising and TV Post-production – The Alternative Guide’.
