Ilaria Colavito

Ilaria Colavito is a 3D Tutor for third-year students at Escape Studios, specialising in tracking, asset creation, texturing and look dev. Her journey into 3D and VFX began at BigRock Institute in Italy, followed by an MA in Visual Effects Production (3D) at Escape Studios, where she developed her skills through a variety of creative projects and collaborative work.
 
During this time, Ilaria also began freelancing as an asset builder, gaining practical experience alongside her studies. Ilaria has worked at Freefolk as a 3D generalist, contributing to projects for film, episodic, and commercials, including Fast X and Netflix's series Kaos.  
 
In her role as a tutor, Ilaria focuses on giving students the confidence to tackle industry challenges, encouraging them to develop a mindset of continuous learning and adaptability as they transition from the classroom to professional environments.
