Steven Lall

Steven has over a decade of experience working in advertising and animation, both 2D and 3D. Steven's broad animation skillset also includes graphic design, film editing, lighting, rendering and managing the motion capture pipeline. Steven has worked at studios including Broken Antler, Reflective Films, Beakus, Trunk, Sparkle Animation, Bottle and Made Visual Studio. Taking on a variety of roles such as 2D Animator, Director, After Effects Artist, Storyboarder and Editor.  

Steven has a BA in Animation from the University of Creative Arts, and a Diploma in Art and Design from Oxford Brookes University. As an Escapee (Steven studied our 3D Animation course) and a former Studio Assistant - he knows exactly what it is like to study at Escape Studios and brings his experience to the studio. Steven joined the School of Animation and Visual Effects as an Animation Tutor in 2022, teaching across our undergraduate degrees and short course programmes.
